Operating principle of quick test SGTi-flex-19 Ag

SGTi-flex COVID-19 Ag is a qualitative immunoassay for the detection of resistance to SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal swab specimens. The SARS-CoV-2 antigen was taken from a cotton swab in the extract and the extracted sample was then dropped into the sample well on the test tray. When the sample is instilled, the detection antibody binds to the membrane-permeable SARS-CoV-2 antigen.

The complex of colloidal gold and SARS-CoV-2 antigens migrates to the test line region and is accumulated by each antibody immobilized on the membrane. This results in the formation of a red line. The intensity of the color band depends on the number of SARS-CoV-2 antigens
